The Professional Charter Association (PCA Ltd) are keen Gold Members of Safe2Stay; among their 130 members, many have adopted Safe2Stay Total Room Sanitisers as their preferred cleaning and sanitising method.
The Professional Charter Association is a non-profit making organisation which promotes and protects the interest of its members, and the safety of their passengers and crews. Formed in 1991 by a small group of professional charter owners and captains, the PCA has continuously helped its members advising them on all aspects of charter operation – particularly since the Boat Charter Industry has seen a significant increase in legislation governing its activities.
Among many of the ways the directors at the PCA decide on how best to protect their members and passengers, ensuring that they offer the right advice for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic has been key in order for them to continue their work in the safest possible way. For this reason, we are proud to hear an increasing number of their members are using our Total Room Sanitisers routinely throughout their vessels for both corporate and leisure boating events.
One member of the association who has adopted Safe2Stay into their strategic cleaning process is Mamarine, situated in the Town Quay Marina of Southampton. Mamarine offer a range of boating experiences from popular corporate events, to stag and hen parties or coastal tours.
“Amazing product – we’re glad we have found Safe2Stay. We use three cannisters a day; before a new guest, lunchtime and after the guest has left. We really appreciate being Gold Members as having the Safe2Stay certificates to display throughout our vessels, or at marine events, highlight the precautions we are taking and reassure our guests.” John McKenzie (of Mamarine, and Co-director of PCA Ltd).
“Since the COVID 19 Pandemic hit the UK and we saw our industry closed down towards the end of march 2020, we have worked hard to ensure our members were supported and up to date on changes to legislation, financial support and operational issues when restarting charters in July. The biggest issue being maintaining cleanliness and safety since COVID 19.
During this period, I became aware of Safe2Stay products and, after consultation with the company, agreed to trial the canisters aboard a couple of vessels, a motor cruiser, and a yacht. The ease of use and the peace of mind offered to crews using it prior to, during and after charters made this product a prime tool to clean vessels. We offered our members access to the product with our monthly newsletter.” Ian Winson (Director of PCA).
